About Shea

I am female bodied, and more or less okay with that (but not quite), and questioning my gender.

I prefer "It" pronouns (I think - haven't started experimenting with this) and accept "They" (some people call me this, and I like it better than "She" but it's still jarring), "He" (acknowledging my non-female makes me ecstatic) and also "She" pronouns (call it comfort with being female-bodied, call it force of habit, I still don't know why I'm okay with this since so many people just aren't).

I'm living here in between. In between the two binary genders and gender neutral, and in between knowing and not knowing. In between being cast out and fitting in my way, and in between who I was taught to be and who I really am.

This blog is about gender and related issues, so that's what you ought to know about me. There is so much more, its not even funny. I will probably have other blogs about it. Also, if people want to know more and ask me questions, I can update this with an "All You Wanted to Know About Shea" FAQ. It's really just too much to write out. I'm a complex sort of person, and it confounds me.
